We will only offer a refund if a session has to be cancelled by ourselves due rink operational issues.

If you can't attend we'll definitely reschedule your ticket for any other date/time up until 19th Jan 2025.  Please email us your Reference number and your new date & time.

If one or part of your group redeems and uses your Reference Booking, then we will not be in a position to issue part unused tickets from that group. (Once a booking reference has been redeemed then it's final).

If one or part of your group cancels mid-skate session due to not liking or enjoying their skate or not able to skate then we won't be giving any refunds for any reasons.

To ensure you get a ticket to the session you require, we'd recommend you purchase online via our ticketing site . 

You may also purchase at our box office at the ice rink but we can't guarantee we'll have walkup tickets available for all sessions.

All sessions last 45 minutes and will start on the hour.

There is no minimum age, but kids must be of an age so they are able to walk prior to trying to skate, use a skate polar bear (skating aid) or being able to use double blades over their shoes.

Please Note, if you're child is not able to sit on a polar bear chair or walk/skate on the ice then they are not permitted on the ice.

Please note, the polar bear aid is NOT a safety chair.

Parents are NOT permitted to hold their child in their arms while skating.

Yes, we have small polar bear chairs which an adult/child can push while the child can sit on. 

Also can be used as a standard skating aid.

If you wish to be guaranteed a Polar Bear Chair then please rent one with your ticket online for €5. They can also be rented at the rink if still available.

Yes, if you are attending Sligo On Ice with a paying customer who you are the official carer for, then you may go onto the ice & skate with them for that session free of charge.  Please ensure you have your official carers card.

Carers rate is only valid if you're attending with the person whom you care for.

Yes, our rinks are fully accessible by all. 

We can only allow non-electric wheelchairs on the ice due to health & safety.

Please ensure you have a family member or friend to push your wheelchair user.

No prior experience is needed! This is a family fun rink

We have a skate size Child & Adult to suit all foot sizes.

We will also have a small number of double blades for kids (this are strap on double blades that go over their shoes), which means it'll be like walking on the ice for very young children.

Child Size 9 up to and including Adult Size 15

Wear warm clothes, gloves, and thick socks. We provide skates, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.

Skating areas can get wet with snow and ice so a spare pair of socks or pants is always advisable espically for kids.

You are NOT permitted to use your phone while on the ice rink.
